Management Information Officer Role Profile

Plymouth City Council is seeking a highly motivated and organised Management Information Officer to join our Adult Education team. In this crucial role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of key data and financial information related to our Adult Education programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately input and validate learner data into our systems.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive learner records and documentation.
- Produce regular reports and analyses to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress against funding targets.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant funding regulations, including those set by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA).
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in data entry, validation, and analysis.
- Strong understanding of data quality and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of adult education and funding regulations (desirable).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This role is suitable for flexible working subject to the needs of the service.
