Contemporary Art Curator (The Box) Role Profile
Contemporary Art Curator
Plymouth is passionate about culture. This dynamic curatorial role is central to the development and delivery of The Box’s ambitious programme. From initiating and realising exhibitions, commissions, displays, public programme and off-site projects to acquiring new work for the permanent collection, this role is fast-paced and exciting.
We’re looking for someone with in-depth knowledge of contemporary art and a proven track record of working with artists but also a great team player who values audience engagement. Following more than two years of critically acclaimed programming, we are hungry to grow our audiences and reputation and reimagine what a new hybrid cultural organisation can be in the 21st century. So, if you are full of ideas and skilled at sharing them, we would love to hear from you.
This role is not suitable for flexible working due to the needs of the service.
