Global Histories Producer Recruitment Pack

N1640 Global Histories Producer - Role Profile

The Global Histories producer will act as strategic lead for The Box’s Global Plymouth project. As part of a wider approach that includes an organisational commitment to anti-racism, this project aims to reinterpret and represent the city’s global histories and collections through a decolonising lens. Working with external partners and stakeholders as well as internal colleagues and advisors, the post holder will lead on the production of new displays, events and activities that allow us to reconsider key elements of the city’s histories linked to colonialism.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced producer who is knowledgeable in delivering complex projects with collections and audiences at their heart. As a key member of staff within the organisation, this is an exciting opportunity not only to play a pivotal role in helping us to shape this important project but also in developing the culture and practice of our young hybrid organisation.

For more information or an informal discussion regarding this role, please contact Rebecca Bridgman, Head of Collections & Programme, on 01752 304695 or email rebecca.bridgman2@plymouth.gov.uk.
