Are you motivated to help Plymouth’s businesses “build back better” following the COVID pandemic?

We have been awarded almost £950,000 from the Interreg France, England Channel programme for a 2 year project (to March 2023) to support individuals and businesses in Plymouth. We are looking for a Business Support Administrator to support the delivery team.

The project will work with 6 partners from France and England to engage existing Interreg projects to understand what has happened to businesses over the past year and apply that learning to provide support programmes through a dedicated team in Plymouth. The project will also provide support for business recovery and provide business resilience in the wake of COVID.

With appropriate support this role will contribute to the management and delivery of Economic Development Projects (eg C-CARE £950,000 project).The role will be critical in assisting the delivery of large scale, high value (multi-million pound)projects, providing support by, for example, implementing systems and processes, facilitating communications and supporting of reporting about the delivery and impact to funders and partners.

You will provide an efficient and effective business support service to the project management team and staff including:
  • record keeping
  • arranging travel and accommodation for partner and stakeholder meetings as appropriate,
  • collating information in reports, spreadsheets, online forms and presentations
  • the delivery of all internal and external meetings for the team and external partners, funders and other stakeholders
  • with support, ensure that processes/ systems to monitor and track project information and activity work efficiently and effectively
  • carry out financial transaction processes for the team, as appropriate

You will be highly experienced in using Microsoft Office and be prepared to learn new systems for data input.
