Enforcement Officer - Role Profile

We are looking for a multi-tasking Enforcement Officer to work in the Environmental Protection team. The team is busy, with high demand, focusing on the enforcement of waste, dog control and enviro-crime. You should be prepared to get your hands dirty and on any day you could be searching fly tipped waste, collecting stray dogs or issuing legal notices.

An important part of the role is to undertake pest control treatments and proofing in both residential and businesses premises, so you will need to be practical and to be able to use appropriate tools.

You should have excellent communications skills and relevant experience in an enforcement role with good attention to detail. Relevant pest control experience or qualifications are desirable although training/ access to qualifications will be provided. You must be physically fit, able to climb ladders and hold a full driving license.
