* Current Plymouth City Council apprentices wishing to apply for this role must contact the recruiting manager to ensure that they are able to support them to satisfactorily complete their NVQ qualification. Apprentices must also have 6 months continuous service and satisfactorily completed their probationary period before applying.

We are looking for a dynamic, action orientated project officer with outstanding organisational skills to undertake a key role in the delivery of the exciting and transformative iMayflower Project which will support Plymouth’s creative industries and nurture creative people power for Mayflower 400 and beyond. 

iMayflower is a 3 year £6m Project which will help Plymouth shout about its culture and creativity offer, develop a long term, sustainable legacy, provide skills and learning opportunities through events and community engagement as well as support our digital creative sector businesses to be more visible on an international stage. 

This Role sits within the highly regarded and supportive Economic Development Team. Ideally we are looking for an ‘all-rounder’ who is organised, has significant experience of stakeholder management and is enthusiastic; they will need to support the Project Manager in building excellent relationships with multiple stakeholders and managing complex information, working together to deliver this exciting Project.
