ERDF Coordinator - Role Profile

We are seeking a self- motivated and dynamic individual to support delivery of an ERDF Business Support Programme, based in Oceansgate, Plymouth. Oceansgate Enterprise Zone is the flagship project in Plymouth.
 
The vision is to transform 7.5 ha of under-utilised land in Devonport Dockyard into a major hub for innovative high-tech businesses creating 25,000m2 of floor space and up to 1,200 jobs.

The delivery is split into three phases; Phase 1 is complete and this proposal is the catalyst to the delivery of Phase 2. 

The aim of the project will be to enable economic growth in the transition area of the Heart of SW economy as proposed through the Government’s Productivity Strategy, encourage long-term investment in economic capital, including, skills and knowledge; and, promote a dynamic economy that encourages innovation and helps resources flow to their most productive use.

The ERDF Coordinator to help with eligibility, compliance and monitoring issues. The successful candidate will have experience of working within a project management environment (ideally that has received ERDF funding) along with experience of project communications.  

You will act as the first point of contact for internal and external enquiries. It is therefore essential that you have experience of working with people at all levels across multiple organisations, for example senior management, councillors, contractors, professional advisors and members of the public.

Experience of providing administrative and/or managerial support is essential, as is the ability to work independently and under pressure with minimum supervision. You will be responsible for managing, coordinating and disseminating accurate and timely project information and helping to plan and manage budgets for the project.
