Project Officer (Changing Futures) Role Profile

 

Plymouth City Council has this exciting recruitment opportunity as a result of a successful bid to the Changing Futures Programme through the Department of Levelling Up, Homes and Communities and the National Lottery.

 

One of only 15 successful areas, Plymouth Changing Futures (PCF) is aimed at addressing systemic inequalities facing people experiencing multiple disadvantage, including homelessness, mental health, domestic abuse and contact with the criminal justice system.

 

Together, the programme partners will develop local delivery models, deliver system change and test new approaches that will help shape future government policy.

 

Plymouth City Council's co-produced bid focused on transformation capacity, infrastructure development, and lived experience in practice, whole system workforce development, peer research and prototyping for innovative approaches. Embodying Plymouth City Council's value of being collaborative, Changing Futures brings together partners from across the city Plymouth and its communities.

 

Plymouth City Council is looking for the right people for this role to support the effective and efficient delivery of systems change projects through project management, communication and coordination support across partner organisations. This will be about working within assigned programme/system areas to agree, organise and progress multiple appreciative, systemic inquiries and pilot projects to identify leverage points for creating systemic change aligned to the individual, service and system level outcomes anticipated by the Changing Futures programme.

 

With demonstrable knowledge of systems change or co-production methods and approaches your excellent planning and organisational skills, combined with excellent communication, relationship building, facilitation and organisation skills, will support you to influence change.
