Want to be part of the largest and most exciting cultural project in the UK to open in 2020? And part of the unique lifestyle of living in Devon and Cornwall? The Box, Plymouth is an award winning museum, gallery and archive built in the heart of Plymouth, adjacent to the University of Plymouth and Plymouth College of Art.

With funding from the City Council, The National Lottery Heritage Fund and Arts Council England, The Box aspires to deliver an ongoing programme of international significance. It needs also to be a commercial success and to be a much loved destination which attracts frequent repeat visits.

Sales and Information Assistant working 14.8 hours (2 days) per week on a seven day a week rota (Starting hourly rate is £10.01 per hour and generous local authority benefits included). Additional working hours might sometimes be available.

Working on a weekend rota (Saturday and Sunday) within the Active Archive Gallery and Cottonian Research Room, assisting visitors with their enquiries, supporting them to use the interactive displays and also retrieving archives from the Box stores for their personal use.  

The expected start date for this post (subject to all pre-employment checks) is Monday 6 September 2021.
