Out Of Hours Social Worker Role Profile
Plymouth Out of Hours Service (OOH) has a vacancy for an experienced Social Worker who meets the criteria.
Plymouth OOH is a busy emergency duty generic social care team, working closely with vulnerable children and adult service users in crisis at night and weekends. We have a strong focus on safeguarding and preventative work, making high quality and creative interventions in a timely and cost effective way. The work is challenging and you will be expected to perform to a high standard, under pressure.
You will enjoy support and guidance from a friendly and experienced team of colleagues and 24 hour support from the team manager.
You will receive regular, structured professional supervision and enjoy frequent professional development opportunities.
To apply for this post you must be a qualified social worker with a minimum of two years post qualifying front line experience of child protection and/or adult safeguarding work.
Your hours of work will be defined by a seven-week rota, inclusive of annual leave and bank holiday entitlements, and you will be required to work evenings, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays, including lone working after midnight.
This post attracts a 15% Market Forces Supplement for working unsocial hours.
