N773 Business Relationship Manager - Role Profile

We are seeking a self- motivated manager with business support experience and a positive attitude to manager the delivery of an ERDF Business Support Programme, based in Oceansgate, Plymouth.

Oceansgate Enterprise Zone is the flagship project in the Plymouth The vision is to transform 7.5 ha of under-utilised land in Devonport Dockyard into a major hub for innovative high-tech businesses creating 25,000m2 of floor space and up to 1,200 jobs .

The delivery is split into three phases; Phase 1 is complete and this proposal is the catalyst to the delivery of Phase 2.

The aim of the project will be to enable economic growth in the transition area of the Heart of SW economy as proposed through the Government’s Productivity Strategy, encourage long-term investment in economic capital, including, skills and knowledge; and, promote a dynamic economy that encourages innovation and helps resources flow to their most productive use.
 
The Business Relationship Manager will take a leading role to manage the business support programme. The programme will offer sector blind engagement and advice along with offering grants to SME’s.

The successful candidate will have experience of project management principles, methodologies and processes, along with knowledge of business support landscape including local and national policy developments. Experience in ERDF grant funding, and marketing would be preferable.
