City Business Park in Stoke and The Business Centre in Cattedown provide over 150 managed workspaces for small and micro businesses. We offer a welcoming and supportive community for like-minded businesses and pride ourselves on the high quality service we give to our tenants and visitors.

 

Part of the Inward Investment and Enterprise Team, we are now looking for a highly motivated and organised person to join us and support the day to day management and administration of the business centres.

 

Offering both frontline and back office services, you will be responsible for providing financial and administration support and assisting in the management of the business centres including promoting and letting units, drawing up tenancy agreements, liaising with tenants and dealing with enquiries, undertaking credit control, raising and processing invoices and raising purchase orders. You will also assist in monitoring and arranging building maintenance and repairs.

 

You will have extensive experience of office administration and the City Council’s financial procedures and regulations, as well as working with or providing support to small businesses. In addition, you will have demonstrable knowledge of Health and Safety at Work requirements and experience of working within a customer facing role.

 

We are looking for a team player with good sales and marketing skills who is able to work on their own initiative and deliver a high level of customer care. The successful candidate must be flexible with a can-do attitude and must be people-focused to help build excellent working relationships with our tenants.
