Family Support Worker (Career Grade) - Role Profile

The Gateway team process children’s safeguarding referrals to the Multiagency Safeguarding Hub, offer advice to parents, young people and professionals on early help and support services. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with experience of working with children and families to fill this part-time role.

Applicants need to be IT literate, be able to make contemporaneous records of phone calls with accuracy, have excellent communication and negotiation skills, flexible, alongside having an ability to work well under pressure as this is a busy service which requires resilience.
