Plymouth City Council is excited to offer opportunities within our Business Support Service for two  Business Support Officers which is the engine room of the organisation supporting the delivery of front-line services for the city, as well as the wider administration of the council.

 

Business Support is a fast-paced environment that provides a window into the breadth of services the council provides for residents, visitors and partners.

 

You will be passionate about providing a high standard of work, enthusiastic about developing yourself, and to want to be involved in improving how we do things for the people of Plymouth.

 

Successful candidates will have a high level of organisational skills, attention to detail and be able to prioritise workload while managing competing demands. You will work to support a range of customers, internal and external so the ability to learn quickly and adapt to change is vital. We are a supportive team environment so you should enjoy helping others develop.

 

You will need GCSE’s A*- C (9-4) or equivalent in English and Maths and Knowledge of Microsoft applications to include Word, Outlook and Excel.
