Highways Apprentice Level 2 - role profile
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic team members who are interested in exploring a career in Highways Management.
Working both in an office environment and visiting sites, this role will play an important function by assisting a professional and knowledgeable team to organise important highways services in an exciting dynamic environment. This rare opportunity will provide successful applicants valuable experience and excellent opportunity to learn how highways operations are undertaken, picking up recognised professional qualification along the way.
· GCSE (Grade A* - C) in Maths and English or equivalent.
· Full UK driving licence.
· Understanding of the importance of confidentiality including the Data Protection Act.
· Willingness to complete qualifications which are part of the apprenticeship.
Funding & Assessments: Please be aware that if you are successful in your application you will be required to sit a functional skills assessment with the apprenticeship training provider. Your current and previous qualifications will also be checked to ensure that you are eligible for course funding.
*PCC Apprentices wishing to apply for this role must contact the recruiting manager to ensure that they are able to support them to satisfactorily complete their NVQ qualification. Apprentices must also have 6 months continuous service and satisfactorily completed their probationary period before applying. Please note this position is not suitable for job share.
