As part of this we care about the health, safety and wellbeing of our staff who work in a variety of settings to deliver our services, including office bases, industrial depots, recycling facilities, public car parks, crematoria, shop front premises, a call centre, community settings, day care facilities, libraries, parks and historic buildings.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right person to join the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Assurance Team as an Assistant to support the delivery of our vision:
 ‘A Council with an active and embedded health, safety and wellbeing culture, fully compliant with health and safety legislation and guidance’
‘A safe, happy and thriving workforce, able to deliver the Council’s vision and objectives’
You will act as the first point of contact for technical enquiries and assist with the provision of monitoring, information, guidance, policy, procedures and training. You must have well developed interpersonal skills to engage, motivate and influence others at all levels.
