Workshop Shift Manager Role Profile

 

Plymouth City Council’s Fleet Services Department are looking for a Workshop Shift Manager to join its team within the garage based at the Prince Rock Depot.

 

An exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and self-motivated Manger to be responsible for the day to day management of the workshops, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, MOT’s to the Council’s Fleet ensuring all compliance and Health & Safety standards are met.

 

Knowledge and or demonstrable experience within Transport Management of vehicles and or vehicle workshops is essential to the role, Health & Safety qualification knowledge and management of MOT standards, operator licence requirements.

 

Transport Manager National CPC qualification is desirable.

 

Full driving licence is essential to the role, HGV Licence would be beneficial.

 

Working pattern Monday – Friday, Operational hours 06:30am – 17:00pm early & late shift cover required.
