Business Support Officer Role Profile

 

Plymouth City Council is excited to offer an opportunity within our Business Support Services for a Business Support Officer within the Executive & Member Business Hub, which is a fast-paced environment that provides administration support to our internal customers and councillors.  

 

You will be passionate about providing a high standard of work, enthusiastic about developing yourself, and to want to be involved in improving how we do things for the people of Plymouth.

 

Successful candidates will have a high level of organisational skills, attention to detail and be able to prioritise workload while comfortable with managing competing demands. You will work to support a range of customers, so the ability to learn quickly and adapt to change is vital.

 

This role will be based at the Council House and Ballard House in Plymouth. Staff are hybrid working in our offices and remotely dependent on role. As part of this, you will need to split your time between home working and coming into the office.  

 

You will need GCSE’s A*- C (9-4) or equivalent in English and Maths and Knowledge of Microsoft applications to include Word, Outlook and Excel.  

 

This role is suitable for flexible working subject to the needs of the service
