CS/1350 - Passenger Assistant Supervisor
£20,493 - £23,080

Windsor House Permanent 37 hours per week Grade D (£20,493-£23.080) per annum

Passenger Assistant Supervisor - Role Profile

An opportunity has arisen within the School Transport Team for a permanent, full-time Passenger Assistant Supervisor.

There is another PA Supervisor already in the team and these are key roles undertaking direct support of approximately 150 remote working Passenger Assistants who escort students between the ages of 4-25, who have special educational needs, to and from school or college daily.  The service provides transport for 800 students on a variety of vehicles (taxis and minibuses) and you will also be involved in resolving or signposting concerns raised not only by Passenger Assistants but also schools and parents involving the health, safety and welfare of the students in our care during the journey.

School transport is an extremely busy service so if you are a great organiser, have excellent communication and prioritising skills, are happy to present training courses, as well as have the ability to problem solve this could be job for you. You also need the ability to work effectively in a variety of situations with conflicting priorities – no 2 days are ever the same! You will be required to work under your own initiative but will be supported by the PA Manager.  You will be expected to demonstrate experience of supervising or line managing colleagues and dealing with members of the public, working within an environment dealing with administrative support would be advantageous and proficiency in Microsoft Office software is a must.  You will be required to work in all weathers, visiting school car parks on a daily basis, to see staff on arriving on the vehicles.

The post is full-time, Monday to Friday and you should be able to work between 7am and 5pm on a flexible basis.  An enhanced DBS check will be required for this post.

The post is not suitable for job share.

Previous Applicants Need not Apply.
