An exciting opportunity has arisen, to support children and young people in Plymouth who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

If you have the desire and determination to make a difference, you could be working as part of the 0-25 Statutory Assessment Team, utilising your excellent inter-personal skills to fulfil the role of Caseworker.
 
The role requires that you are the first point of contact for parents/carers, Head Teachers, Special Educational Needs Coordinators and other services for pupils involved in the Education, Health and Care Plan process of statutory assessment.

You will be responsible for ensuring that cases are handled in an effective, professional and timely manner, to meet Statutory deadlines and Key Performance Indicators, in turn contributing to an extensive network of educational support within the City.

The role encompasses the timely receipt, coordination and collation of all advice in relation to the statutory assessment process and compilation of an Education, Health and Care Plan.
