Contract and Learning Services Manager Role Profile

We are looking to recruit a 0.5FTE Contract and Learning Services Manager to be part of a new team driving the delivery of the Skills 4 Plymouth 5 year plan.

Skills 4 Plymouth aims to drive an outstanding skill system, which drives high aspirations and attainment and meets the needs of employers and individuals across all ages and across all communities.

What you’ll be doing

The post holder will be responsible for the strategic planning, implementation and management of all customer focussed aspects of delivery in support of the core business for Skills and Post 16 Service.

You will lead and manage a team of qualified information advice and guidance professionals to achieve high quality customer service across contracts in order to meet contract targets and recruitment.

You will oversee the customer service experience for the adult education service, On Course South West, including all elements of customer facing service delivery outside the classroom in line with policies and procedures for service delivery and in line with Ofsted and Funding requirements.

We are looking for people with a good understanding of the post 16 & skills landscape & local infrastructure to support adults with skills development.

You will promote & lead a team to implement the highest levels of customer service in order to support adults into learning and training to improve their outcomes

We are looking for people with experience of complex problem solving and the ability to work to tight deadlines with competing priorities.
