An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Quality Assurance and Safeguarding Service. The full time worker post will be for an Independent Reviewing Officer. This role will focus on Children looked After supporting and holding the local authority to account in ensuring care plans are appropriate and right, and are progressed in meeting the outcomes identified for children. The post also has quality assurance aspect to the role and will require you to be able to audit and undertake other quality assurance activities as required in order to improve and strengthen practice.

 

You must have demonstrable post-qualifying experience in a statutory childcare setting. You will need to have a working knowledge of relevant legislation including the Children Act 1989; the IRO Handbook; Working together to safeguard children 2018; the Children Act 1989, and the Adoption and Children Act 2002.

 

You must have a recognised Social Work qualification and a demonstrable CPD record to show on-going development and training.
