Information Access Officer - Role Profile


An opportunity has arisen to join a growing team within Plymouth City Council , Information Governance Team. Successful candidates will be working in the Information Governance Team and will be responsible for providing Customers with quality information under the Data Protection Act and Freedom of Informaiton Act, plus working in other aspects of the team accordign to requirements under the Data Protection Act, contributing to the smooth and effective running of the service. Supporting continuous improvement, reviewing policies and processes as well as having a good level of IT and keyboard skills to include Microsoft Office ,to support with tasks such as data entry and producing reports. The post holder’s must be able to work to tight deadlines, have strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to prioritise a varied workload as part of a team, in a sometimes pressurised environment, including excellent attention to detail and a methodical work approach with the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external customers.
