Technical Accounting Officer - Role profile
Plymouth City Council is looking to recruit x 2 enthusiastic, committed and hard working accountants to work in the dynamic environments of Adult Social Care and Car Parking and City Investments accountancy.
The successful candidates will be key members of the teams, working closely with like-minded colleagues and the service departments. Your duties will include reconciling and assisting with monitoring accounts, financial planning, investigating errors and processing accounting adjustments. You will help produce reports, monitor and present budgets on a monthly basis and assist budget holders to meet their training needs with regards to understanding their budgets. Using previous years data, you will input to estimates for the following years charges and meet with budget holders to discuss budget controls and identify savings and pressures within the service.
