Plymouth City Council is excited to offer opportunities within our Business Support Service for a Business support assistant which is the engine room of the organisation supporting the delivery of front-line services for the city, as well as the wider administration of the council.

 

Business Support is a fast-paced environment that provides a window into the breadth of services the council provides for residents, visitors and partners.

 

You will be passionate about providing a high standard of work, enthusiastic about developing yourself, and to want to be involved in improving how we do things for the people of Plymouth.

 

Successful candidates will have a high level of organisational skills, attention to detail and be able to prioritise workload while managing competing demands. You will work to support a range of customers, internal and external so the ability to learn quickly and adapt to change is vital. We are a supportive team environment so you should enjoy being part of a high performing team.

 

You will need GCSE’s A*- C (9-4) or equivalent in English and Maths and Knowledge of Microsoft applications to include Word, Outlook and Excel.
