Social Worker – Children’s Disability Team ( 37 hours per week)
Based in SEND Service, Windsor House

We are seeking an experienced social worker to join our Children’s Disability Team. This team is part of the SEND Service, which is an integrated local authority service, who work together to support improved outcomes for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.

The social work team provide the full range of assessment and planning for disabled children, and their families. This will include work with children in need, child protection, children in care, support for permanence and supporting transition to adulthood. The team are able to link with a good short break offer in the City, as well as multi-professional advice and joint planning, in order to achieve effective planning which is making a difference for children’s lives.

Children’s Disability Team link closely with our other Children’s Social Care Teams, and this includes access to an excellent social work professional development offer.
