We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to work in the Business Support Team within the Children, Young People and Families Service.

In order to undertake this role, it’s essential that you have the following:

• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages
• Experience in working in a customer facing role.
• GCSE (Grade A*-C) in Maths and English.
• NVQ II in Business and Administration or equivalent.
• Experience of working in a clerical or administrative environment.
• Experience of working in a team.

In your role as a Clerical Officer you will be engaging with a variety of people on a daily basis; from members of the public to Social Workers, as well as other professionals such as the Police. Some of the generic administrative tasks you will undertake will include keeping accurate records, maintaining electronic filing systems, answering the telephone, sending out letters, collating information packs and organising meetings at short notice amongst other duties.
