Business Administration Apprentice Level 2 - role profile

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the Children, Young People and Families Service as an NVQ2 Business Administration Apprentice, with the opportunity to specialise in Finance.

This role provides an opportunity to develop invaluable skills that will be transferable throughout your working life, building on your existing communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Sitting in this developmental post, the successful candidate will be given protected time to complete their NVQ assignments, as well as participate in activities and training that contributing to their professional development.

Alongside this, apprentices will be responsible for carrying out generic administrative duties alongside the full-time Grade C clerical staff. These duties include but are not limited to: answering telephone calls, responding to emails, organising calendars, scanning and printing documents, inputting data

In order to undertake this role, it is therefore essential that you have the following:
• 2 GCSE’s A* - C in English and Mathematics or equivalent
• Experience working as part of a team
• Experience of working towards deadlines
• Good communication skills and willingness to undertake vocational experience
• Understanding of the importance of confidentiality including the Data Protection Act
• Knowledge of using PC applications to include Microsoft Office and Excel
• Willingness to complete the qualifications which are part of the apprenticeship
