Personal Advisor Role Profile

 

Personal Advisor opportunity within the Local Authority's Permanency and Care Leavers Service.

 

If you are passionate about making a different to the lives of young people and adults and are committed to continuous professional development, we would like to hear from you.

 

We are looking for applicants who understand the requirements of young people with care and support needs, their carers, and other professionals. You will have experience of working in a Social and Health Care environment or Criminal Justice Setting and will be able to manage your work individually as well as work as part of a team.

 

You should be an effective communicator both verbally and through written formats, able to prioritise workload, be IT literate and willing to develop your skills. You will be committed to achieving positive outcomes for young people and adults whilst recognising the difficulties this can bring.

 

In return you will be part of a friendly, supportive and experienced team, with regular supervision and appraisal, collaborative team meetings, and access to learning and development opportunities.

 

This role is not suitable for job share.

 

The Disclosure & Barring Service Check requirement for this post is: Enhanced Check + DBS Children’s Barred List & DBS Adult’s Barred List.
