Planning Officer - role profile

How would you like to take the next step in your career playing a key role in a multi-award winning planning service?  

Who we are: Plymouth City Council planning service is a fast paced but friendly service where joint working and team work is key to success. We are looking for a pro-active Planning Officer to join our Development Management Team. The post holder will be based within an Area Planning Team and principally deal with a varied caseload of planning enforcement work. There may also be an opportunity to act as case officer for any related planning applications.

About you: You will need to be very organised and have excellent customer service skills. You will need an appropriate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline, or be studying towards or have a willingness to study towards this. This would be a great opportunity to get some initial experience in Town Planning and full training will be provided.
