Housing, Neighbourhood Regeneration, Community Safety and Community Youth Services have been brought together to create the new and innovative Community Connections Service.

Community Connections is a multi-disciplinary team, working across localities, with and in communities, creating a relationship with citizens so that they are encouraged and supported to be proactive with ours and other services, thus feeling more engaged and empowered to make sustainable changes.  

As part of our new service, we are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a passion for making a difference. Our Community Connections Officers provide advice and support on a range of issues through working with other Partners to proactively find suitable solutions. These Officers’ seek to prevent homelessness and improve housing conditions through promoting a range of housing options.  Officers are also expected to work in partnership to resolve community and neighbourhood issues and preventing anti-social behaviour.  

Initiative and flexibility are required as you will be working across the City.
