Project Officer Role Profile

 

Do you have an interest in digital and want to develop your project management skills?

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 Project Officers to support the plymouth.gov.uk website upgrade project The Plymouth City Council website is currently undergoing a redesign of its content and information architecture with an emphasis on user needs and content design.

 

This will provide a website that is easy to use and meets the needs of Plymouth residents.

 

As a Project Officer you will work closely as part of a multidisciplinary team to support research sessions, data analysis and provide project management support to ensure our website continues to meet accessibility requirements and user needs.

 

This post will give you the chance to learn about content design and user research which are newly emerging roles in the digital team.

 

The successful candidate will:

- Have excellent communication skills to talk to a range of stakeholders

- Be able to analyse data and use it to support insights into the needs of our users

- Plan and deliver work to support the wider website project

 

The role is suitable for flexible working subject to the needs of the service.

 

We are currently working remotely however, there may be times when you need to work some of the time in one of our office locations.
