Plymouth City Council is looking to recruit a Safeguarding Support Assistant for the Plymouth Safeguarding Children Partnership. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with demonstrable experience of providing administrative support in a team environment. You will be working in a multi-agency environment and will gain experience of liaising and working with other professionals and delivering excellent customer care. You will have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain good working relationships with colleagues and external organisations and an ability to bring a flexible approach to working arrangements, working to tight deadlines and changing priorities. You will be solution focussed. You will support the current priorities of the Plymouth Safeguarding Children Partnership (PSCP). The Plymouth Safeguarding Children Partnership has strong representation and engagement across the city, including health (commissioners and providers), police, education, probation, and other public, community and voluntary sectors. It is active in raising awareness, coordinating prevention and ensuring a robust multi-agency approach to safeguarding children
