Planning Officer - role profile

Do you want to work for a Planning Authority that has an outstanding record of achievement? In recent years we have won the RTPI Silver Jubilee Cup three times for our Planning achievements. We have also won Planning Authority of the year from both the RTPI and Planning Resource along with numerous other planning achievement awards. We now have an adopted Joint Local Plan with South Hams and West Devon and we have an outstanding record of customer service in Development Management. Therefore our standards are very high but the professional rewards are enormous.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Development Management officer who has some planning application experience, to deal with minor planning applications in the city. You will need to demonstrate some DM experience and an excellent approach to customer service and delivery. RTPI membership is desirable.
