The Council has recently launched Resurgam: Plymouths Covid 19 Economic Recovery Plan.One of the strands is ‘Build 4 Plymouth’. As a Quantity Surveyor in the Strategic Projects Team,your work will contribute to stimulating Plymouth’s economic recovery by progressing and accelerating a diverse range of major capital projects, which will create jobs and support the sustainable growth of our city.

In response to this plan, we are building our team and are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor of capital projects who is a motivated team player with a drive for continuous improvement. A commitment to developing others is required.

The role is usually based in the Council’s offices at Ballard House, with stunning views across the marina but we are currently mainly working from home. We offer flexible working hours,including the ability to work from home, and access to the Local Government Pension Scheme.

This role is suitable for job share.
