Technical Lead (Safer Communities) - Role Profile
Community Connections have created another exciting opportunity for the right person to be part of the team delivering across the Community Safety Agenda.
The Technical Lead ( Community Safety) will work with the existing Technical Leads; across the Community Connections Service; and, with partners, to support and deliver the work of the Community Safety Partnership - Safer Plymouth.
Safer Plymouth has been through significant changes over the last two years on its journey to becoming a Trauma Informed Community Safety Partnership.
You will be joining at an exciting and challenging time as the local authority and partners set to respond to the impact of COVID 19; new statutory duties as a result of the new Domestic Abuse Act and the Serious Violence Bill; systems change through Changing Futures funding; and, the priority work areas identified through the Local Strategic Crime Assessment.
This role will also support the Partnership in its ambition to further develop its reach and influence with the development and delivery of its communications plan and website. Community Connections is a multi-disciplinary team delivering services across Homelessness, Housing Improvement, Disabled Facilities Grants, Community Safety, Community Youth, and Community Development.
Our ethos is to put people at the centre of service delivery, creating a relationship to encourage and support with ours and other services. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with an ability to work strategically and across systems and with a passion for making a difference.
This is a demanding role working across systems and with partners and will require you to have some experience of multi agency working.
You must be happy to work independently and flexibly as you will be required to work both from home and from various locations in the City.
